two report design in the same page

Need some help on designing crystal report.

Here's what i need to design in report

First part shows the allocated time of each project for each quarter of an employee. Second part shows the assigned time of each employee and sum of the allocated time (from first part).

I am able to design first part but don't know how to design 2nd part. Is it even possible to do this? If so how? In 2nd part columns, (under employee) are displayed as rows. How to achieve this?

Please give me some suggestions.

Hi Soaltee,

If you place second report as sub report in the main report, you may loose formatting because first report will display in its own sections.

Do the  following :

1. Create first report & second report separtely.

2. Create a blank report

3. Now place first and second sub reports side by side in either Report Header or Report footer section.

This will give you desired results without effecting formatting.

Thanks,

Hi

I would do this as a sub report.

You would design the right hand side in the same way you have designed the left as a separate report and then insert this second report into the first.
