SMTP Problem while sending mail from SAP

Hi,

I want to send an email using SAP. Please provide details regarding the same.

When I execute this error is occured "SMTP Problem while sending mail from SAP".

Please tell me the solution.

Hi,

At first you can check settings in SCOT for SMTP.

Also please provide further details like transaction, report, FM, error message no. Without it will be no possible to recommend an appropriate solution.

Dear MIchael.

I have a grn report which produce the details of all grn created on the day.

I want to send my  mail to vendor for the details of the same.

I had created a z report which takes record and covert in pdf.

My concern is that i need to send this report as mail to my client.

This is support issue. i didn't have much idea about how it was configured earlier,

previously it was running fine, but now it has stopped.

Do u this any configuration  such as ip or somthing has been changed from client due to which it is giving error.

Also suggest me complete process to do the same.

how to schedule it in background

Also initially client has a weekoff at friday, now it has changed to sunday . please suggest how to change this.

Please suggest some solution for the same.

Hi Sam

1. Execute your program

2. Go to SOST

3. Select date range

4. See that ougoing mail has been created in outbox

5. Check the error status....

If you do not find any email generated there,

1. go to SCOT

2. verify the smtp configuration  (discuss with basis team to support)

    Check for domain name, port etc
