Hello Experts,
We are on BI 4.1 SP5 Patch 7 platform. Currently we have CMS cluster environment over 2 nodes.
Now we are planning to "Lumira server for BI Platform installation 1.28 version". Please clarify below points
1. Can we install the Lumira Server directly in PRD server which is CMS clustered over 2 nodes or do we need to install in DEV & QA box first just like other SAP products.
2. Kindly provide a high level steps to perform the installation over CMS clustered environment.
Best Regards,
Alok
I did reply to you in Lumira forum. Follow the instructions i provided to you. If you want to install directly in PROD without testing in lower environments, you are taking a risk.
How is your BI Platform clustered? is it a distributed environment?
Run the Lumira add on install on CMS server follow the on screen instrctions. if you web application (Tomcat for example) is different than CMS server, while installing on CMS server, Features seelction screen uncheck the option 'Web Applications' and continue with the install.
And again run the same install on Tomcat server, Just check only 'Web applications'.

Thank you once again Jawahar, ours BI platform is a CMS clustered environment, one additional node has been added in existing CMS node and both are having BO and TOMCAT running into it. Now can my concern is do we need to install the LuMira server for BI Platform on separate new node or any of existing node or on both the existing node?
It is depending on how much load on your current cluster and your Lumira usage. If current load is not that much on your cluster, you can install Lumira server on your both the clusters.
If you are planning to use Lumra heavily, i would suggest to build another server exclusively for Lumira. Lumira webapp can be installed on your existing cluster.
