Purchase Order attachments security

Is there a BAPI or another way that we can restrict PO attachments to only be deleted by the user that created them and/or the ability to restrict who can see or access an attachment on a PO?

Hi,

   You can use the authorization concept to achieve the same. There are authorization objects which will identify the attachment level and the user. Hope all your queries are answered in the KBA: 1539457 - Authorization concept while modify/delete attachments from Attachment list of Services for... You may check the same and revert back in case you need additional information.

Could you give me your expert input on how to prevent a or set of users from display the attached document and one more question how to activate URL attachment, I think that is missing in my GOS. Your help in this regards is highly appreciated.

Yeah we have a GOS and no DMS. I'll look into the AO suggestion and see if we can apply it. Thanks everyone.

Hi Scott

DMS Document have document types that you can control to give authorizations to use if you are using DMS for your attachments

If you are using normal attachment section of GOS -1539457 - Authorization concept while modify/delete attachments from Attachment list of Services for... as pointed by AKPT is suitable.
