Display all the hierarchies

Hi experts,

I am facing some troubles with the datasource 0COSTCENTER_0101_HIER.

In fact io have a hundred of hierarchies in ECC, when i replicate the datasource in BW. I have only 3 Hierarchies which i can load to BW.

Do i need to something at bw level or ecc to display all the hierarchies?

I replicated the datasource agin today, and i can see all the hierarchies.

Hi Amine,

You can display all available hierarchies in the InfoPackage in BW. On tab page Hierarchy Selection you can display all hierarchies. Initially you will only see those hierarchies marked as "relevant for BW". However, if you click on (Refresh) Available Hierarchies from OLTP, then you will see all of them. You can now select the one you would like to load in BW and mark any hierarchy as "relevant for BW".

Hi Amine,

If you mean to say that you have only 3 hierarchies in the Infopackage level,

then select the option "All Available Hierarchies from OLTP" .It will display all the available hierarchies.

Hi,

i did not see the hundred of hier in ECC system.

basically Hier have predefined obects, when you want extact the hier you need to get information for the functional team.

let say exapmle - 0PLANT have 0PLANT_HIER.

if have maintain hier in ECC for PLANT you will get the information and hire strucutre form ECC after replicating the data source.

please activate the hier sutrucutre, then check the hier tab- thier hier is there for particualr object you will ge the data.

Do you mean hierarchies records/nodes? or different set of hierarchies? did you refresh the "available hierarchies from OLTP" from info package  hierarchy tab?

did you check with your functional team which hierarchies are active and being used for your business? you need to pull only those to BW.
