Value PGI in Data Record E1EDL18 for Idoc Posting

Dear all,

I want when a delivery is created the system through idoc to post the goods issue. I have find numerous threads and posts and through them i managed to create the Idoc messages. More specifically I have created in WE20 for partner KU customer an outbound Message Type SHPCON with DELVRY03 as basic type.

In message control i enter V2---LD00 and DELV as process code.

Now in the partner Type LS i create an inbound parameter SHPCON with process code DELV.

I create Sales order and delivery and output message is generated succesfully. However the Idoc created has value ORI on E1EDL18.

If i go to WE19 and change this value to PGI then the goods issue is posted. How can i feed value PGI to the Idoc?

Am i doing sthing wrong in my settings?

Hi Ali,

Normally the PGI message is an inbound Idoc can you pls let us know which is the other system from where this Inbound message is getting processed.

Hi Sreekanth,

Yes it is an inbound idoc. The system is the same. I have created an outbound during the delivery and same system takes the inbound in order to post GI.

However it is not working.
