Hello Experts,
My issue is about transferring qualifications to the employee when the course (E) has been followed up successfully.
If a person A already has let's say "License 1" qualification which is valid from 01.01.2015 - 31.12.2015.
Now the same person is enrolled to a course which gives the same qualification "License 1" and the person finishes the course on 15.10.2015.
When the course is finished all course participants is transferred the qualification "License 1" with a validity period NOT taking as Course end date but adjusting in such a way that it continues from their prev record.
For Exm: Person A already had the "License 1" and now when the course is finished the old validity period 01.01.2015 - 31.12.2015 is not getting delimited and a new record is created from the date continuing previous record i.e. 01.01.2016 - 31.12.2016.
So it is like
Old Record: 01.01.2015 - 31.12.2015
New Record: 01.01.2016 - 31.12.2016
Whereas it should be like
Old Record: 01.01.2015 - 14.10.2015
New Record: 15.10.2015 - 14.10.2016
Time constraint is maintained as 3 for IT1001 A032 between P and Q
If it can be changed, then can you please tell me how?
Thanks in Advance.
Regards,
Varun
Hello Experts, Thank you for your valuable inputs.
I didn't tried to change TC to 2 but we observed a workaround to this scenario.
When doing a Follow Up, on the Qualification impart screen we can adjust the Start date and end date accordingly which will impart the qualification with that date and delimit the old record in IT0024.
In this way we are successfully able to solve this.
Yes the relationship between Course Type and Qualification is successfully created A032.

HI Varun
Do you set the relation between course and qualification?
Because when you set this relationship, therefore after followup automatically transfer the qualification.

Could you try changing the Time constraint to 2 and check?
