Dear Team,
I am having some errors in COGI. Without clearing this COGI error if I close this month end will it be any issue on PP side & FICO side?
Is it must that the COGI errors to be cleared on the same month before the month end closure?
Thanks
Hello,
Yes it is recommended to clear the COGI before period close, else you have to change the posting date if period is closed.
COGI replace the posting date with function 'Replace -> Date but it may lead to cost difference.

Hi Brahmankar,
Assume that the COGI error has been posted since there is no stock of BOM component during this month end. And this month end has been already closed. Now i am clearing this COGI error next month when i get the stock of the BOM component using the option "Replace" ( Replace date). You said that if we use the option "Replace Date", it will lead to cost difference. Could you please explain this with some example?
Thanks
HI Seval
Errors in COGI must be fixed before end of month - this is a daily activitie.
Problems not fixed in the same month will impact mainly in CO side (cost of producto) - affects the Production Order Cost.
Each material in COGI is a problem do COPC (Product Cost) and MRP (material possibly used but not informed in the system).
And if you are using Material Ledger, you'll facing more CO problems.
Rule: Each problem in COGI must be fixed until end of the day.
