two group rows difference in webi report

Hi ,

Requirement to get the difference between the two rows . difference in break wise two rows please reply.

Hi,

Try with these steps.

Add one more column and extract the Month only.

Month=Formatdate([Month/Year];"Mmm")

Apply Break on Month variable.

Put the =First([Value])-Last([Value]) in the break subtotal row.

Right click on the Month variable and Hide the dimension.

Like the same i have requirement to get the report like below given format where we are getting differences between the last month of the quarter.

i having issue in it for year which is dynamic ..please let me know how can i achieve this because year is showing for the next month year ..please check

how are you calculating  cal Year/Month/based on some condition? or direct from the backend object.

also how are you displaying quarter here based on some condition?

if conditions then share the conditions  formula's

Amit ,My requirement is to get the difference between the last month of the quarter in block wise as you can see my previous image post.User wants to get input year month and see the quarter last month difference for that period.

I have created the group and their diffrence like dec 2014- sept2014 ,March 2014 - June 2014,dec 2014- Mar 2015 ..etc..Issue comes when i give prompt for year Month we get more month year data like dec 2014 dec 2015 ,jan 2015 jan 2014 ..how could restrict the year here because its a dynamic...and in the present of this i am unable to get difference between the two last month of quarter.. i am getting the repeating month with year how cud i get the block so that i can give the difference between the last month of quarter because year is making the hole mismatch ...
