Hi Experts,

I need urgent help in understanding how the initial load of documents happen in SAP Landscape

we have a legacy system which has vendor documents. the requirement is to load these vendor documents into SAP Content server

How does this happen?

Once the documents are loaded into content server, how to map these documents into SAP ECC system? Do we use GOS in this case?

Thanks,

Sharma

Hi Sharma,

from DMS point of view there is the change to use SXDA tool, with which we had good experience to create document info records by mass!

For the mass creation of document info records there is a special transaction called SXDA. The SAP note 817743 includes a detailed description for this transaction. According to description in note 817743 you can use the DMS_LOAD01 report to create a sequential sample file. For this purpose, you will

need a document info record that will serve as an example for the document info records created by the files. This means that it must contain all required data; a description, additional data and classification, object links and originals.

Best regards,

Christoph
