AS Java stops with exit code 515

Hi

SAP Portal failed to start with the following error message as per bootstrap log:

Java node 'Instance_bootstrap' terminated with exit code 515.

I followed the following link

and have seen missing information of Instance ID. There was no Instance ID in the config tool.

What is the process to fix this issue? Pls help to get it fix.

Hi Amar,

The most likely reason for a missing instance ID in configuration manaager is corrupted DB tables or accidental delition of information.

In such cases you should restore your database content from a backup.

Hi Amarjit,

You can expand the tree further for the Current instance and check. If you multiple instance running you may need to further drill down the tree for same.

Also do copy paste the dev_bootstrap log here.
