How to send Capacity Formula from ECC to APO on CIF

Hello Gurus:

Standard PDS CIF sends ECC Routing Scheduling Formula to APO PDS.  However, we want to send ECC Routing Capacity Formula to APO PDS instead to match how we are doing capacity planning in ECC.  Can anyone suggest a BADI / Method for the PDS CIF to make this happen?  Would it be a BADI on the ECC side or APO side?

Hi Andrea,

I am sure you mean the formula mentioned in work center; one on capacity tab and other on scheduling tab. The same work center then being used in routing which you are referring too. If that's the case then first check the definition of your two formula's.

Example: I have taken standard formula one we define in scheduling and other in capacity. Apart from indicators the only difference is split of operations (SAP_11) which could be valid in your case or might not. So logically you have same formula if you have not defined number of splits in routing itself. So you can interpret same.

As Rahul mentioned, CIF will use the scheduling formula so APO will consume the capacity in the exact same manner as ECC.  What is your issue?

Issue is that the SNP PDS does not utilize setup matrix and such. 

But PPDS PDS will consider all the same aspects as your routing and work center formula consider.
