Can not create shm web object

Hi guys,

I am facing a critical issue with the my application servers as is see the issue in logs as "Can not create shm web object. Possible out of shm free slots. Check the shared memory configuration" . So upon analysis I came to know that a particuar user which i see as Guest in the NWA is consuming a lot of secessions and in the NWA I can see more than 5000 Web Secessions wich is the maximum limit.

SO kindly let me know how to resolve my issue.

Could you check the SAP KBA for error message "Can not create shm web object"

Hello Kaushik,

Before anyone can start reasonably helping you, please provide your product version with patch levels etc ....

As a starting point you will want to consider session timeout.
