CTM master data

Hi experts,

Having begun with CTM project,

Guess Product, location, lanes,PPM / PDS  are the principal master data's.

The business scenario is like this -my client buys vegetables(FERT)  from outside US  put in packs, some labelled, some unlabelled lying in the yards, there are n number of locations within US ,and he wants to effect a stock transfer and deploy it accurately among locations, demand and supply needs a perfect match, procurement planning is the scenario envisaged,( what my client does is buying and selling)

I guess the above master datas would suffice fot CTM to run for this specific scenario . there is no in house production involved ,so what should i propose the client for source of supply guess it has to be PPM or PDS,  but he is using ECC also

One wonders why CTM was selected.  So far, according to your brief narrative, there seems to be nothing that requires a CTM solution.

For procured parts, the source of supply is typically a transportation lane.  Source can be a vendor, destination is.....wherever you need the finished product to be.

    Best Regards,

Thanks DB ,CTM because we need demand priority to be set ,and supply category, as well  myself into  first week of project, so will be gaining clarity in days to come
