Hi All,
We had a transport move in the system, after that we are facing some performance issue while loading the data through DTP. Kindly help me out if we need to do some kernal setting to improve the load time.
Thanks
Avanish
Hi Avanish
Please explain more about the changes in the transport request.
Also give details of the runtime of the DTP. How long it runs before the change and after the change?
Which step in DTP detail monitor takes more time?
Regards
Karthik

Hi Karthik
We have moved the changes but did not moved any changes related to our DSO and Datasource.
Also last time someone from our team did some kernel setting after that issue got fixed. But unfortunately we don't have any information about the change.
PFB details regarding the DTP load
1) It was taking 30 -40 mins before but now taking around 2.5 hours.
2)No index was created before and after changes.
3)All the packets were loaded but time got increased as the number of packages loaded got increased.
For Ex.
Data Package 1 ( 44.390 Data Records ) 14.10.2015 21:25:39
Extraction DataSource 0CRM_MKTATTR_ATTR : 44.390 Data Records 14.10.2015 21:26:15
Data Package 239 ( 43.396 Data Records ) 14.10.2015 21:26:06
Extraction DataSource 0CRM_MKTATTR_ATTR : 43.396 Data Records 14.10.2015 22:43:55
Data Package 286 ( 4.378 Data Records ) 14.10.2015 21:26:11
Extraction DataSource 0CRM_MKTATTR_ATTR : 4.378 Data Records Extraction DataSource 0CRM_MKTATTR_ATTR : 4.378 Data Records
Please provide some solution.
Kind Regards
Avanish

Hi Avanish
Last time, did you have the same problem?
Unless we know what is the change moved, we wouldn't be even able to know what is the cause of the issue
Is this issue happening only to this DTP or to all DTPs? If any kernel settings resolved the issue last time, it should have a system level issue, not to an individual DTP
Did you try contacting your basis team?
Regards
Karthik
Hi Karthik,
Yes last time we had the same problem. It is a go live changes and we have checked it and it has not changed any structure or setting for both DSO and Datasource. It is difficult to mention all the changes,
It is the issue only with this DTP and is taking much longer time than usual.

Avanish
Hi Avanish
If its not affecting the whole system, then there should be something hidden about this change.
Anyways, if there is no changes done to the corresponding data flow, please go ahead and approach basis team and get it resolved.
Performance issues when a code is taking long time or data selections, we could resolve it.
But without any changes, if something has gone wrong in the system then basis team has to analyse the same and give a proper solution.
Consult basis with the job logs and statistics before and after the go-live changes.
Regards
Karthik
