Earliest master data change in IT0003 & audit report

Hi Experts,

Am just new in here for the forum, excuse me if its not the right way to create a thread!

Question is:

In IT0003, earlist master data changes field  is not capturing the earliest date from the infotype changes,

Scenario:i made changes in IT71 for a date of 01/02/2014 and it got saved in it0003(earl.mas.date=01/02.2014) & following i made another change in IT69 for date of 01/04/2015. Now, in it0003 it got changes as(earl.mas.date=01/04/2015) . Means, system will not trigger for the changes i made for IT71 prior to 01/04/2015.

Logically, system should always consider very earliest for the field when we make changes in multiple payroll related infotypes

meantime, when we checked the audit log, it shows only two entry which is like

IT                                                          OLD          NEW

0003      Ealirst master data change        000000       01/02/2014  -> IT71

0003      Ealirst master data change        000000       01/04/2015  -> IT69

System, should have an entry of deletion at least. It is disappears in my case.

Please, help me out and suggest if sap got released any note.

Thanks in Advance.

Jay

This is strange! You are correct, if the existing date in Earl MD change is earlier than any new date due to changes in some other infotype, the existing date should not be overwritten.

Is this happening for all employees? Can you check in your test system for some others?

Thanks for your Reply Tania,

It has happened only for one employee in production system.

However, when i checked in development(test system). It does saved the correct date in IT0003 and also i could see the correct log in Audi report.

Thanks

Ok, then are you certain about the sequence of events in the Prd system? Can you verify the audit logs for IT 71 & 69?

Hi Tania,

That's what my question is here,the audit log for the infotypes  are

IT                    action

0071             deletion (it was the first action) (01/02/2014)

0069              update (it was the second action) (01/04/2015)

log of IT 0003

IT                                                                             OLD          NEW

0003      Ealirst master data change        000000       01/02/2014  -> IT71

0003      Ealirst master data change       000000       01/04/2015 ->IT 69

Note:Audit report should have an entry of

                                                                                  OLD             NEW

0003      Ealirst master data change        01/02/2014       0000000

If am not wrong

thanks

jay

Would it be possible for you to attach screenshots of the audit log report for IT 3,69,71?

I can see from your screenshot that you have linked the audit log of It 3 with infotype changes in It 71 & 69..is this based on an assumption or based on the time when changes were made to IT 71 & 69?

Hi Tania,

It is based on time from the SAP audit prog screen.

Thanks

Cannot think of a possible reason other than this being data related(since you already confirmed that other cases work correctly). If you can somehow replicate this in Quality, then we can analyse further.

Hi Jay,

please can you check the below setting between your Production & Dev

HR Documents: Infotypes with Documents (V_T585A)

HR Documents: Field Group Definition (V_T585B)

HR Documents: Field Group Characteristics (V_T585C)

Infotype attributes customizing - V_T582A

also you have to check your authorization whether you have full access to view the audit report in production (because earlier i had the same issue)

Regards

Rahul

Hello

Check the SAP note 1961699 Refund for Arrears payroll and it has a dynamic action for setting the PA0003-RRDAT

For that employee, what is the "Earliest retro acctg period" and date for the relevant Payroll Accounting Period Control Record (t-code = pa03) ?
