Unable to launch Integration Repository/Directory

Hi,

I have SAP XI 3.0 SP9 installed on the server. Every thing works fine, I did create many scenarios and tested. But all of a sudden I am not able to launch Integration Repository or Directory. So I restored the server from back up copy and seem fine but, after 2 days same problem. I am frequently experiencing the problem of launching IR and ID. Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

Clear the JWS cache which will be in %osinstallationdir%/Documents And Settings/%userName%/Application/Data/Sun/Java/Deployment/cache/javaws dir...(delete everything in that dir)....after doing this try opening the Integration Builder....it will work fine in the first attempt itself..if not give it a few attempts..definitely after 3/4 attempts it will work.....

Hi Anu,

I think you need to clera your JWS cache. to do this, just open your Java Web Start, go to FILE-->PREFERENCES >Advanced> and select the option CLEAR APPLICATION FOLDER.

I did clear the cache many times. But still I am frequently having same problem. I went to my back up copy and everything works fine and after a day again I am not able to launch IR and ID.

Hi Anu,

I suggest you try installing j2sdk-1_4_2_09. This might not give you the problem you are facing.

I have been using this version of j2sdk and i have faced no problem.

Just got to sun.java.com and download it.

Hello,

I had same problem ie sld and runtime workbench opening but IR and ID not .

I tried sldcheck transaction and found out that sld is not working .

When I go through system log user was locked which is used for sldaccess maintained in sldapicust transaction.

After unlocking same user , problem was resolved.

Hi Anu,

Is your JDK version correct?? SP9 wont be compatible to JDK 1.5 r above .Also tell me wat error you are facing while launching fails.Have you set Java Web Start proxy to none.

Hi Aravind,

My JDK version is 1.4.2_08. I also set the Java Web Start proxy to none. I am using the system for 6 months. Every thing seems fine. But all of a sudden I am having these problems. There are no changes made or any patches applied to system recently. Frequently I am facing the problem of launching the IR and ID. It tries to launch the IR/ID but never gets open. Workbench and SLD works fine.
