Backflush with material that have batch management

Hi experts,

In production orders I have used the backflush with materials (components) that do not have batch management and the backflush works well

But now I am trying to use the backflush with materials that have batch management and when I confirm the operation the system does not automatically posts the goods issue

Can I use the backflush with materials that have batch management?

What I have to do to use backflush with materials with batch management?

Arnulfo,

Ensure Sufficient component stock available in the batch location i.e., equal to the confirmation quantity as per BOM. If not please transfer the stock from different batch or reduce the confirmation quantity as per the batch quantity.

If your are introducing batch, then you supplier quantity, your storage quantity & your production quantity will be same. Then only you can work with Batch smoothly.

Hello,

You have to do the batch determination before posting good movements (Backflush)

In the process order or production order, for components execute a batch determination or in confirmation CO11N/Co15 do the stock determination.

Make sure BD indicator is set for the corresponding plant and order type in transaction code OPJ2.

Hi,

You can use back flush with batch managed material and it is working fine in std SAP. In your case issue may be different.

Is that material serial number managed?
