It would be great if someone let me know exact item wise availability/PAM in each Int tool.

At present there is no standard content for SAP PI. There are adapters that contain some mappings and content, but they are not offered as packaged integrations.

Boomi contains significant amount of content, including:

  • Employee data to SAP ERP (for payroll, EHS, etc.) and Employee Central Payroll (for payroll)
  • Org data to SAP ERP (for workflow)
  • Employee data to WorkForce Software EmpCenter (for time and attendance)
  • Employee data to Kronos EmpCentral (for time and attendance)
  • Employee data to Benefitfocus (for benefits)
  • Employee data to Thomsons Online Benefits (for benefits)
  • Employee data to AON Hewitt (for benefits)
  • Account data to Microsoft Active Directory (for LDAP account creation)
  • Employee data to ADP GlobalView (for payroll)
  • Employee data to NGA Payroll Exchange (for payroll)
  • Employee data to NGA euHReka (for payroll)
  • Job Code data to IBM Kenexa (for requisition creation)

There are also standard integration templates available for time and attendance, benefits, and payroll processes.

HCI contains a significant amount of these integrations already, including:

  • Employee data to SAP ERP (for payroll, EHS, etc.) and Employee Central Payroll (for payroll)
  • Org data to SAP ERP (for workflow)
  • Employee data to WorkForce Software EmpCenter (for time and attendance)
  • Employee data to Benefitfocus (for benefits)

I hope that helps.

Best regards,

Luke

Hi Luke, hope all is well.

For EC to SAP ERP (EE & Org data), do you know of any advantages or disadvantages to using HCI (over Boomi)?

I understand EC is now on the price list with one SKU for "EC with Boomi" and one for "EC with HCI" but I got the impression that the HCI version was being "controlled" on how/when it is sold.  Obviously the Boomi flows have been around a while. Curious on your view and whether you'd used HCI in this scenario.

Hi Stephen,

All is pretty well. I hope you and the family are too!

HCI is being controlled to some extent in its roll out. It's more than a BETA release but it's not quite GA. Essentially SAP are trying to make sure they have the right resources available to support the initial implementations using HCI.

HCI is similar to Boomi but the one advantage I see is that this will be the go-forward integration technology for new customers and once that happens (I hear in H1 2016) I foresee Boomi no longer being offered to new customers.

All the best,

Luke

There isn't one, because ADP GlobalView is SAP ERP Payroll and so you use the payroll integration guide.
