How would I extract the Balance Sheet (or P&L) for a period to a flat file?

if you are using the standard report  0FIGL_C10_Q0001 , then you can extract the query data to excel using tcode RSCRM_BAPI

Hi,

I am assuming, you have 0FIGL_C10 cube which is receiving GL data from ECC, if yes, then you can make use of the standard Query which is on top of this cube,and follow below.

Using this T.code RSCRM_BAPI -- you can extract the report to CSV only to application server.

if you want it to be saved in your local drive, then use APD (T.code RSANWB ) , choose your query as Data source and PC(give your local path here)  as target.. in this way you can extract query to local drive.
