VL09 reverse posting with wrong date but delivery vl02n deleted?

Dear Experts,

following problem:

1. VA01 -> sales order created.

2. VL01n - > delivery and GI (mvt. copy from 601) posting with date 09.2015

3. VL09 -> cancellation (mv.t copy 602) but with wrong period date 10.2015

4. VL02n and order -> deleted by user

How to reverse process to post with correct date 09.2015 or workaround?

Thanks in advance for help

Best regards

DJ

Once you delete (Shift+F2) an outbound delivery from VL02N, then this delivery document number can't be processed any more.

Please read the message's details of message VL559. You can find more information there.

Thanks, but I'm looking for solution because the cause is known: delivery was deleted and cancellation  material document with wrong period..

the logical next step would be to create a new delivery, posting goods issue with date of 10/2015 and doing a VL09 with 09/2015.

I can't tell if SAP allows to cancel the goods issue in a previous period after you originally issued in current period. You need to test it.

If it does not work, then you need to cancel the goods issue in 10/2015 again and your are back to status quo and have to life with this situation. You can then take it as a learning experience, that cancellations (and especially deletions) should not be done in hurry, that you should even be double careful in such exceptional cases.

Hi,

interesting but not possible VL09 -> "Cancellation date 15.09.2015 is before the goods issue date 15.10.2015 Message no. VL626"

Message VL626 can't be changed for warning in OVM1 because is hardcoded in WS_REVERSE_GOODS_ISSUE. Still I'm looking for work around solution.

Maybe another way how to move stock from current to previous period which posting/transaction?

Thank you

You can always move stock from current period into the previous period using MIGO with movement 201/202 or 561/562

You do a 201 consumption in the current period and a 202 consumption cancellation in the previous period.
