Endless wait animation on WD application after upgrade to NW740

We have recently upgraded from NW 702 to NW740.

A Web dynpro application which was working fine before upgrade, is now showing an endless wait/load animation. It doesn't allow to interact with the application.

We have TimedTrigger UI element on the page. But we are not able to find out if the problem is due to that.

Please help.

First of all please update Unified Rendering in the system.

Howto: Unified Rendering Notes - Which one to apply - Web Dynpro ABAP - SCN Wiki

    This should solve the issue.

    Best regards,

      Hi Gabor,

We had raised an SAP incident # 801458 for the issue on 23 Sep 2015, but didn't get a solution.

The latest reply on the incident says that it is a consulting issue. However I don't feel the same as the application works fine on a browser(Mozilla) but not on another browser ( IE10 or IE11) after upgrade to SAP NW740 with SAP Standard Theme. The same application works fine in IE11 inside SAP UI Theme Designer.

Please share any notes (if available) to solve issue on IE10 / IE11.

p.s. : The application was working fine on IE11 on NW702 before upgrade to NW740.So i feel that the combination of SAP NW740 + IE10/11 is not working for us.

      Best Regards,

      Rohit Choudhary
