Hi,
I'm trying to create a publication but when I try to test it, it keep failing with the error message: "Unable to connect: Incorrect log on parameters".
The publication consists of 1 crystal report which has links to 4 different data sources. When I run the crystal report directly from the BI Launch Pad it works ok so I know the passwords on it are correct.
One thing I have noticed is that within the publication the database logon screen only shows 3 data sources. The one that is missing happens to be used in a sub-report in the main report.
Is there as issue with using crystal reports that contain sub-reports in a publication or is the a red herring.
Thanks
Stuart.
Sorry,
Forgot to say I'm using BO 4.1 and crystal 2013

Thanks.
It turns out that in the database configuration screen of the crystal report had that viewing and scheduling report option as 'Prompt User for Database logon'. I changed it to "Use same database logon as when report is run".
For anyone with the same issue please note, you will need to remove the crystal report from the Publication, save the publication and then re-add the crystal report back in for this change to work.
