BIMETRIC: no data found in BW (InfoProvider 0SMD_EA1H)

Hello,

We have configured technical monitoring in our production solman system, applied all SAP default metrics to managed systems.


For some managed system we are able to see "ABAP system logs" in technical monitoring but for some managed systems it is not visible, we are getting value as

"BIMETRIC: no data found in BW (InfoProvider 0SMD_EA1H)".

We have gone through SAP note 2220873 and as per note data is not available in the infoprovider. All the RFCs of managed systems are also working fine.


Please suggest.

Hi Deep,

Have a look at blog where i have put in how you can analyse the data for performance infoprovider. The way to analyse your exception infoprovider should be similar.

Also if you go to sm21 in your managed systems do you see the error logs getting created?

Thanks for your reply, I had already gone through your blog, performed all the steps mentioned in the blog but no luck.

My infoprovider itself is empty for particular SID, job was running for few days but now it suddenly stop running.

Yes I checked in SM21 as well, I could see system logs generated there.

Ok Deep,

In this scenario, it seems the extractor isn't working properly. Make use of transaction e2e_extractor_fwk to quickly open extractor framework and check for EXCEPTION ANALYSIS (SYSLOG) for the particular SID. Check if its showing red or Green in the status.

Thanks Aditya,

I have gone through above steps and I am surprised that EXCEPTION ANALYSIS (SYSLOG) is not available for SID I am looking for. Infact EXCEPTION ANALYSIS  for gateway, update errors, ABAP dumps are also not present.

However it is available for other SIDs.

Please suggest.

Ahh, Please check if the managed system configuration is complete for this particular SID? In particular Extractor Setup under Finalize configuration
