is there a way to default view version in interactive planning SNP

To view the VERSION in interactive planning in SNP we can click the icon show/hide fixed characteristic.

Is there any way to DEFAULT THIS ON? so that the button does not have to be clicked manually each time to be able to view and check which version you are using?

I think unfortunately there is no option  for this:-( !!!

In our case we have achieved by creating a separate Data view. In the naming convention of data view you can add version name i.e. 000. So whenever the planners clicks on data view he sees in which version he is working. We have different data view with simulation version where planner suppose to view simulation data. This is just working instruction we have created for planners.

I know it´s not the best way but at least it´s working for us.

How does that help.  Each data view you can open whatever planning version the planner wants.

John is trying to find a way that the system (PB header) will always show the planning version versus having to manually select the "show planning version button".  I am not sure why SAP decided that the planning version should behave differently than all the other characteristics you can display on the header.

True Kenneth if does not help technically but this is our work instruction given to business which the follow very well. In our case not all business users want perform the simulation so we have not given the access to this data view so it´s not ideal solution as I mentioned above but works in out case.
