Dear Gurus,
I've some assets capitalized this year and a take over in 31.10.
For those assets, just for the area 02 (non posting area), i must upload the current year acquisition and accumulated depreciation as historical. So i need to upload those value in as91 in the following fields:
IS there a way to accomplish the requirement modifying the customizing?
If not direct input in table would be the last chance?
Thanks
Gianni
If you need to upload the take over values for this year, the above items are greyed out. This is standard functionality.
You need to click on transactions button to enter the values along with its transaction type.
Look for transactions button.

Dear Ravi,
thanks for your answer.
The transaction button allow me to acquire the asset in the current year.
I need for tax area (area 02) to load the old book values (acq. value, acc. dep), as if they were posted last year.
If it's not possible eventually i would post the acc. depreciation of the current year in the field O.dep.pstd., from 01.01 to 31.10 but the field isn't showed for area 02.
(In the area 01 i must just post the value determined by third party experts (so no acc. depreciation)).
The only way is to upload directly in sap standard tables?
Thanks
gianni
Dear Ravi,
at the end i had a crazy idea.
we'll capitalize the assets with 31.12.2014 date so assets are capitalized in the previous year and we can enter the data acc. dep. and asset value.
After this we change with as02 the capitalization date uploading the 2015 one.
We've just a problem: 1 acquisition date and acquisition year are not editable.
Since the asset journal is based on acquisition year we must directly modify this data in sap standard table, otherwise the asset would be recognised in year 2014 and not in year 2015.
I know its not a good habit to directly insert a record in standard sap table, but to accomplish business requirements we have no choise.
(consider also that we are running sap 4.0b)
Thanks
gianni
Hi Gianni,
You cannot change the acquisition date, which is incorrect legally.
Once you have entered the entered the AS91, you cannot change the acquisition date, it is greyed out due to integrity.
You cannot change anything at the table level, by doing this you may end with severe problems with the system. This is not advised.
The best practice is to enter through the 'transactions' and transaction type and the acquisition amount.
Kind Regards,
Ravi
