Hello Expert,

We've business requirement in which we need to print TO and Label together for all transfer orders which are created from Delivery.

I've done all the required configuration in OMLV.

Also in Analyze inside OMLV everything is perfect.

But in our case when we save Outbound Delivery the TO is getting created automatically in the background we just need confirm the TO.

When we display TO then in header details it shows that WM Movement type 601 is assigned to Print Code 02 and TO printed ticked, but our Warehouse print program is not getting called as resulted TO not getting printed automatically.

Can any one please help me resolve this issue.

Dear Jurgen,

If all the settings are in place then in that case once the TO is created for combination of Warehouse 720, Movement Type 601 and Print Code 02 then TO and Label should be printed.

When we display TO its showing TO printed and Print Code 02 but print program is not getting triggered in debug mode.

Please Help.

What are these values in the printer column?

In my system is there nothing else than a 4 character printer code.

And even in your screenshot it says once in the column "keys used" that the printer = J309

In printer column we've output device type whose short name is J309.

We're also facing one more issue.

When we're trying to create TO from delivery in that case I'm getting error that

Available quantity in bin is zero

But there is enough quantity in bin, also I've checked recent TO in that bin and observed that TO is already created but not confirmed.

I'm really confused since I'm not able to understand what could be the issue.

I'm attaching both the screen shot. Please Help me out.

Is this a SAP bug.

Please do not ask multiple different questions in the same discussion, I would say that the quantity is not available because the first picking (TO 887177) is not confirmed yet and hence the stock is not  back in the bin and hence not available for another pick.

Yes in SPAD you can enter the output device with a long name.

But in the OMLV customizing I have never seen that, all tables like T329E and T329A allow only a 4 character code for the printer.

I've found that TO is getting automatically created through delivery output type WMTA.

But this output type getting called only in certain cases.

I've checked its allowing to maintain Out Put device name instead of shrot name.

As suggested by Jurgen you can define only 4 character output device name in setting under column if you try to enter the description system will throw the error message. Please check your configuration once again.(in the below screen the Printer name is HPLJIIID however when I am trying to enter the same system is throwing error message)

Please press the F4 button in front of the LP01 and share the detail of the ODev (as showin in above figure) what you are getting

Dear Manish,

We can maintain 4 character name i.e. shot name of output device TSP03D-PADEST or Device name TSP03D - NAME.

In your case device does not exist that's why you are getting this error. Please maintain device name it will not give error.

In our business case scenario we are creating TO from delivery with output type WMTA.

Now once the TO is created automatically we also wants to print TO & Label.

So when TO is got created our print program is not getting called that's why prints are not coming.

So we are using Enhancement in to call our print program once the TO got created.

Hope this will fix the issue.

I'll keep you updated with our development.

Hi Ganesh,

The printer name that you specify under button 'Warehouse Movement' (in OMLV) for Transfer Order Print Control must be the same laser printer (not label printer name) that you link to the label printer under button 'Printer Pool/Labels' (in OMLV) which is Printer Definition for Labels.

If your laser/label printer setup is not done under the 2nd definition step in OMLV, and does not match the laser printer used for the MvT then the TO creation will not know which label printer to use because you don't specify a label printer under the Whse MvT assignment step (hence no label being printed at TO creation).

Please send screenshot of your laser/label printer setup under 'Printer Pool/Labels'.
