Not able to delete Service line from PO

Dear Expert,

I tried to search solution for this issue on SDN but wont found any idea.

My issue is, I have service PO with A/C assignment P. I created PO & saved in ME21N. Then with ME22N I am trying to delete the service line. System deletes the line & allow to save the document. But again if open this PO then system shows that line again without WBS element. No deletion flag is set again that line. Due to this I am not able to delete the line in service PO.

I am wondering why it is happening. If any one gone through this issue then please give your observation to help me out.

Hi Subhash,

I also faced this error, to reduce this i implemented the SAP Note 2143651, please try its just because you have updated your system.

Hi,

Reason already explained-You are Not able to delete Service line from PO, so better set deletion flag line item(10) in your Service PO in Item Overview where you have account  assignment category P and item category D.Now add details in another line item (20) with  account  assignment category P and item category D by entering other details to complete your Service PO for your requirement.

Hi,

   Could you try to delete the item from project itself and check the system behavior.

   Refer the KBA: 2171949 - Unable to delete services from Purchase Requisition Line Item which explains the reason for the behavior and the work around.

did you eventually get an express message?

Anyhow check in SM13 if you find a posting failure with your user ID.

Then select the item and click the header icon to know why it failed

Hi,

Not getting any message for update fail. I don't find it is suitable to delete complete line item. As PO can have more 100 of service item under that line item. So how can I suggest client to delete complete line though user want to delete one service line.

Kindly suggest..
