HI all,
We have a requirement of Auto closure of incident in 72 hours when status is in customer Action. can we restrict auto closure based on status.

Please notice that the blog entry is a bit old, and you will need to adapt the configurations mentioned to Solution Manager 7.1.
Solution Manager does not work with job RNOTIFUPDATE01 or RNOTIFUPDATE07. It is now AI_CRM_IM_UPDATE_FROM_SAP.
AI_SDK_SP_AUTO_CLOSE_2 does not exist in my internal test system, but AI_SDK_SP_AUTO_CLOSE exists.
The report allows you to choose duration and status for auto-closure, it is easy to use.

Like everybody mentioned
first create a variant for report AI_SDK_SP_AUTO_CLOSE
create a job in sm36 periodically with this variant for the report above
In case you are still not clear goto Se38 first execute this report in TEST MODE and see what it does or how it work
once you are sure then proceed further
this should solve your issue.
