Hi all
We found some invisible fields on the “Customer Charge” which should allow to enter additional information.
If we use this field (as example Generic Custom Text) and fill in data we receive an error.
Does anyone know the functionality of this fields?
Does anyone know this error?
Thanks for your help.
Best regards

Hello Jasmin,
I am able to reproduce the issue in test systems as well. Can you please raise an incident for SAP so that I can further look into it and follow up with the root cause.

Dear Ms Schaad,
To enable these fields you need to edit the Accout Assignment Types fine tune task. You might have to add this task to the implementation project first.
If you open the ByDesign help directly from the fine tune task you will be able to access the ByDesign help document Configuration: Account Assignment Types.
Here it is said that the custom fields are available as additional account assignments for an account assignment type.
I have not found any information on the generic custom text field so far but will follow up on this.
I will also reply to your incident in German shortly.
Kind regards,
Caroline

Hi Caroline,
I don't think it is possible to change the standard values for account determination such as ACC, IMAT, SLS, PRO.
+ Another point to note is in the activity Account Assignment Types, users can create custom codes 1,2 and 3. which will reflect in the respective custom code field drop down values.
But there is no control over how generic custom text should be populated. In all other account assignment type Generic custom text field remains greyed out.
It is editable only in case of Account assignment type ACC.

Harshal
Dear Jasmin,
We also want to use Generic Custom Object.
We can assign Generic Custom Object to ACC account assignment type.
But we cannot find where to create Custom Object.
Best Regards,
Fred
