BPMon Table entry counter

Hello

We have a requirement where we need to set alerts when DATVR field of a table is blank.

We have set up the below configuration ( please see attachment), but the alerts are showing as 0 measured value, whereas entries do exist in the satellite system. We have tried keeping DATVR = " " and DATVR =<blank> but both configurations are not fetching results

Key figure used at the moment = No of counted entries

Is it possible to have filter on a date field as equal to blank in the monitor setup?

Thanks & Regards

Nihaal.

Hi Nihaal.

As far as I test, = blank works. I think date field selection causes problem.

So I suggest to change like >=FDOCW instead of between FDOCW - $TODAY.

hello Keiji

Thank you very much for you response. I will do the changes suggested by you and see if the monitor is able to capture data. I will update this post shortly with my findings.

Meanwhile, could you also upload a screen print of the settings you have done while testing?

Thanks & Regards

Nihaal.

Hi NIHAAL

Are you sure you have data in managed system ?

If yes, better to check data collection part with some way.

1)(Maybe easy) Turn on SQL Trace (ST05) for a while for program /SSA/EBO. (Do not turn on without filter otherwise SQL trace

2)Debug table counter data collection by usign test program. check my past posting (2013/07/31 0:48 )

Good Luck

Hello Keiji

Yes, data exists in our managed system in the Z table, when we give the same selection criteria as the monitor.

In fact, I even set up a test counter for PLAF table (same settings as yours with our material) to see if the data was captured, but that monitor too did not capture any data.

I will follow the trace suggestions given by you and update this post.

Thanks for your inputs so far.

Thanks &Regards
