SAP APO Statitical Forecasting

Hi All,

I have set up numerous profiles with multiple codes in each.  I want to run the statistical forecast in the background using one Job with all the selection profiles.  Will the Stat then run according to each of the selection profiles or will it run as the total of all the profiles?

It will run per selection profile. You can check the same in MC8E, by clicking on "number of planning objects". It will count per profile and will give you count.

For further understanding create three different profiles with same material combinations and name them 1,2 & 3. Select all three in several and click on "number of planning objects". You will see 3 times counting of the same (considering your aggregation level).

Hi Christopher,

You can run your stat forecast for multiple selection id's together by using the "several" radio button (section "Selection ID") in /n/sapapo/mc8e t-code. The level at which the forecast will run depends on the aggregation level you select in this transaction and this level will be applicable for all the selection id's.

The disaggregation of forecast will be governed based on the disaggregation settings you maintain in your planning area for your forecast key figure.

What I have discovered is that it does not forecast at the profile level but rather at each Material within the profile.  I am looking for it to run the stat at the aggregation of the profile and disaggregate down to the material.
