Prompts/filter on refresh w/o Bex query as datasource

Hello All,

I am connecting an AO report directly on a Composite Provider from a BW on HANA 7.5 system and have been looking for a solution HARDLY even in VBA which consists in simply be able to have prompts/filter before refresh of a query, in the same way when we use Bex Queries with variables as a datasource...

Some master of masters guru please, is that possible? if yes, could someone pleae provide a step-by-step guide/solution?
