Hi David - I recommend checking the official SAP Product Availability Matrix on this at https://websmp101.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/012002523100006594522015E - SAP Service Marketplace logon is required

HI David
I'm working on Windows 10 station with analysis 2.2 on office 2016(analysis was installed on office 2013 before upgrade to 2016). Functionality/connectivity seem to work but interface(analysis side panel) problems simply don't allow to work with it. Waiting for next release with official support.
Best regards,
Denis

Any updates for MS Office 2016?

Dear Björn,
Please refer to my SCN post below:

As mentioned there, I believe MS Office 2016 will be supported from AO 2.2 SP2 onwards, according to SAP note 2252866.
Analysis for Office 2.2 SP2 is planned to be delivered in Calendar Week 9, 2016.
We will also update the PAM regarding the support of MS Office 2016.
Regards, Filipe
Hi Sebastian,
Yes, AO 2.2 SP2 is still planned to be released in CW 9. You can always refer to the SAP note below wich is regularly updated:

Kind regards,
FIlipe
Solved issue by installing Excel 2013 standalone besides Office 2016. No problems with installations, works like a charm!

Hi Tomi
Just keep in mind that certain corporate environments do not allow a standalone installation of Excel in addition to a full Microsoft Office install, due to licensing and user support.
In our corporate environment, for example, we have opted to wait for the official support from SAP for Office 2016, this will result in less stress for our desktop support team troubleshooting issues.
Regards
Derek
Hi David
With regards to Windows 10 and Office 2016, SAP will generally support the newer Microsoft products within +/-3 months after the official Microsoft release date, this allows SAP to test and validate the software.
The current Analysis installers do not recognize Office 2016, this will be changed when SAP supports Office 2016 (will be updated via a support package).
From a technical viewpoint, there is not much difference between Office 2013 and Office 2016, a few small changes here and there - so in theory Analysis should work with Office 2016 - just waiting for SAP to support it.
Regards
Derek
