SUM upgrade phases

Hi All,

please can someone share a link or guide to understand different steps under each phase in SUM like steps under initialization, extraction, execution etc. we can get process overview while running SUM but please can someone share link or guide.

    Hello Ranjith,

    Under the directory where you have extracted and executed SUM you will find a directory called htdoc.

    eg: /usr/sap/XXX/SUM/SUM/abap/htdoc

    In that directory there are two files you need to download to your PC.

    phaselist.xml

    SAPupPhaseList.xsl

    You can then open the xml file with Internet Explorer and you will be presented with a page in your browser which will show you the roadmap and a description of the steps in each phase.
