Hi,
I want to upgrade SOLMAN 7.1 SP11 to SP12, What is procedure i can follow-up?
Normally we will create the stack.xml file and using SUM tool we can start the upgrade.
Apart from this we can check prerequisities(Open TR's and etc).
Any suggesstion? our OS is windows 2008 and database is MS SQL.

Hi Karthik,
I assume you already have a copy of update guide using SUM tool
further try to upgrade to SP13 unless specific reason for moving on SP14 and can check below changes or new features offered in SP14.
Changes and New Features in SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SPS 14 - SAP Solution Manager - SAP Library
Changes and New Features in SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SP13 - SAP Solution Manager - SAP Library
SUM is pretty good today and will help you to update both ABAP and JAVA stack together so don't need to worry.
also based upon the functionalities live or implemented you might need to check/apply relevant settings(pls do check below document which talks about impacted scenarios)
hope this helps
Thanks
Prakhar
