Hi Srini
Please elaborate your question in detail. At the moment, it is little confusing to understand the scenario.
Thank you

Hi Say example :
for the 2 following articles, i created a phase in profile in week 36 and ran the statistical forecast manually
X and Y
so at the end of week 36, stat forecast generated.
In week 37 on statistical forecast job ran again, ( Back ground )
the outcome of it was obviously 0 on the entire horizon
the 2 articles are in the selection : say example Z this selection is there in back ground job step and to generate forecast which is using master profile in that life cycle planning is active
so this method should have been applied during the stat forecast run in week 37. as 2 products maintained in Phase in profile i am expecting forecast and it is working fine in interactive mode
why did it not happen this through batch job way ?

Hi Srini,
I could understand that you are able to use life cycle planning only if forecasting is carried out interactively in Planning book, but it is NOT happening when it is run using DP Background job. Although your master profile has Life Cycle Planning checkbox selected. Sorry, Other than this I did not understand much from details given by you.
I suggest you to check following steps are done correctly SAP Menu- Demand Planning → Environment → Lifecycle Planning->
1. Basic settings for the planning area
2. Creation of Profiles – Like Profile, Phase-In and Phase-Out Profiles, whichever is required.
3. Assignment of the profiles to individual characteristic value combinations.
Also read more about Life Cycle Planning in APO and usage each of these profile at below link - Lifecycle Planning - SAP Library
If possible share screenshot of your basic settings, Ph-In profile, Assignment.
Thank you
