In the kanban control cycle of the component I have maintained Bin as XYZ
But when I see material document created for the material on confirmation of the Production order it has different bin i.e. ABC
How can this happen. It should reduce stock from bin maintained in the Control Cycle. Storage type in the material document is correct but not bin.
Thanks,
Kiran
Hi Kiran,
The storage bin in the control cycle is where the stock goes once the components have been issued for the order. The components can be issued from wherever they are availabe in the warehouse.
In your example material is kept in st. bin ABC and the bin in control cycle is XYZ, so ,as I said the stock is moved from ABC to XYZ.
Once you confirm the order the components are consumed from XYZ bin with movement 261.
Please check the TO's for the material with transaction LT24 to see all the movements.

Could you please be specific which storage type or please share the screenshot of control cycle as well as the material document where you see the differance

Check the control cycle in LS41 with indicators -- 1 of pick part which will show up in your pick sheet and 4 as manual staging which will not show up in your pick sheet like screws and nuts. You can change it from LPK2.
Make sure work center from PP is linked correctly.
These two factors will drive your back flushing for 261 movement when the production order is confirmed.
