Ok, here's the story. I setup a Business System as the Integration server. I entered in the wrong port for the Pipeline URL (50000 instead of 8000). When I tried to edit the URL I could not do it for some reason in the SLD. It seems simple enough to edit the port entry but it would not allow me to do this. So I decided to delete the Business System and recreate it. On trying to re-create the Business System I get the following error.
Integration Server already defined There is already an integration server defined for the selected technical system. Please select role Application System.
I even tried restating the XI application but still I still receive the following error. Any ideas?
Hi Shaun,
actually there are some entries created when you create an integration server that are only shown in the content maintenance --> landscape description and are not deleted if the business system is deleted. The only way to solve this is to delete this entries manually.
Did you check in content maintenance --> landscape description --> XI Integration Server which entries exist? Maybe here is one for the BS you have deleted, in that case, remove the entry and try to recreate the BS>
Best regards
Christine

I was afraid I would have to do that but removing the technical system then re-creating it worked! Points awared, thanks!

Hi Shaun -
Remove the technical system corresponding to the Integration Server and re-create it. Then you should be able to create your business system for the Integration Server again.
