Deploying modified ESS code in nwdi

Hello All,

I am working on the custom changes of the ESS webdynpro java based services. My nwdi is setup with Development, Consolidation, Test and Production runtime system.My question is after making changes to the services how should i deploy the application. After deploying application where exactly the application will run. Since we have configured all the runtime systems, on which runtime system does it get deployed.

I am really confused with this stuff. Highly appreciate your help.

@about the Runtime Systems (RTS) in NWDI:

If you have defined 4 RTS - NWDI will try to deploy to all of them. This happens on different phases of the software logistic process.

These settings depends on the scenario you do run. It is not mandatory to define all of them.

1.

Development RTS - The central development system (DEV) is used by the individual developers to test the local developments in a larger context, that is, their interaction with changes made by other developers.

2.

„Consolidation RTS - The consolidation system (CONS) and the test system (TEST) are used to consolidate a certain fixed status of a software component or for a final test (also in the sense of an integration test).

3.

Test RTS - so called Quality Assurance RTS - usually used for final test before deployment on Production,

„Production RTS - as the names prompts - this is the RTS where the final users will use your customizations. Only after successful test, the development will finally be imported into the production system (PROD).

Anyone who can answer this. Please
