Which Track contain the custom development

Hello All,

I have a requirement where in I have to make some  changes to the existing custom developed Applications.  I can see many tracks in my nwdi server which were created by previous consultant. I don't know which is the correct or latest tracks for those components. How can i find out which track contains the custom changes.

Do we have to import all the tracks in nwds and go through each of them??

I truely Appreciate any inputs on this.

Regards

Kiran

Hi Kiran,

you can check this via CBS in your NWDI. There you can select your tracks, see the SCs and the corresponding DCs of those SCs.

Hello Tobias,

Thank you so much for your reply. yes i can see tracks and  its dependent SCS. My question is there are many tracks with the same components. How would i get to know which one is the latest track containing the latest changes. Is there any way from nwdi perspective where we can deploy and run the applications.

Hi Kiran,

You might check which of your customized SCAs (and when) are deployed on the target RunTime System.

Open NWA - Configuration - Infrastructure - System Information - tab Component Info. In the column Location, against the custom SCAs you will see the Consolidation Buildspace(s).

In the NWDI, using the Consolidation Buildspace name you might refer to the track name.

Hi Milen,

Thanks a lot for your reply. I am on Portal 7.01Version. I couldn't see infrastructure under configuration. Can you please let me know if we have any other option for accessing infrastructure.

Hi Kiran,

For your NW 7.01 (versions earlier then 7.1) you might use:

http://<server>:<port>/monitoring/ComponentInfo
