SAP ECC component on top of SAP Netweaver 7.4 Abap

Experts,

There is one requirement, business need to use existing NW (Abap) 7.4 system (with GRC-Add ON) to copy some master data table from ECC system.

We have already NW - Abap system installed and requirement is to install ECC business component on top it so that it can ECC table can be copied here.

Need your help/expertise on how to achieve this ?

Found one documnet for special installation , but it mainly deal with NW portal.

No, not really, because for many (most) of those components there is downloadable "installation" image that you can use. They all come together as "ECC" and the whole thing is installed together with SWPM (sapinst), just like installing a NetWeaver system.

ECC is not an add-on or business component that gets installed on top of a NW ABAP system. It's a standalone installation (that includes its own NW ABAP). There is no "installation" mechanism to achieve what you're trying to do, so my recommendation would be to install ECC by itself.

100% Agree that ECC is not Add-ON.

Taking it as 'special case' . System will not be use as regular ECC system.

If we only install below components on existing NW7.4, does it make any sense :
