I have listed below the steps which has fixed the issue. This may be useful for someone.
Follow the solution in the below URL to have proper environment in BO administrator user.

Configure ODBC string in odbc.ini on BO server as per BO installation document.
Install the oracle odbc client (32 bit and 64 bit both) , configure tnsnames.ora in case of oracle on the PC where IDT is executed. Sql server odbc client was already available.
Create ODBC connection on the PC where IDT is executed.

Try to repair your client tools installation, and add all drivers when you have to select them.
I think that some drivers are missing.
