Please give me example of this Process Chain Data Manager. I hope there is detail explain about the logic also.

Process Chain concept is related to your BW system ...

So here you can mention the Process chain which are defined in your BW System ...

Thanks for your response.

I want to create BPC New Package that pass some parameters to Script Logic, then this script will trigger BADI and BADI will do business process calculation.

Like picture attached above, to create new package, I have to input some Process Chain. Can you give me the example ?

Sorry, but you don't need to create or change process chain!

You just select standard process chain DEFAULT_FORMULAS_LOGIC

Then in advanced DM script you can configure parameters and script name.

Then you create script logic script with badi call.

It's absolutely standard procedure! Hope it's clear.

Before going further i want to know what type of BADI you are using & What is the purpose....?

I will use "Multiple Use BADI" that will be written at UJ_CUSTOM_LOGIC Enchacement Spot.

The purpose of course to do some calculation for customer needs.

Are you sure that you will absolutely need a badi? Why not start with a script? What is the calculation logic?

Ok,Rachird i think you want to do some Parent Calculations so if you use Custom Badi then you have to trigger that using script logic as Vadim already mentioned the procedure to-do soo..

But if you can use the Write Back Badi then it would be easy to handle & it will trigger automatically when you Save data ....

Where in my case most of the time i used Write Back Badi only for any such calculations ....
