SAP auditors accessing our ECC system

Hi Mates,

Can anyone help me in understanding whether SAP auditors can access our ECC systems without our knowledge to get the details required by them without us opening SAP-OSS connection to our ECC systems.

Hi Adarsh

Are you talking about SAP user license auditing? Without customer concurrence SAP will never access your system. they will ask you to run  user measurement in case of user license auditing.

If there is auditing regarding the compliances, then also they will have to get the concurrence and proper authorization.

In either of case they will never access system without knowing of the customer.

I did check this internally as well.

If you have any questions about system measurement, there is usually a SAP license auditor assigned to your installation; please get in touch with him.
Alternatively, report an incident on component XX-SER-LAS. If you feel that any unjustified data is being accessed, please report an incident .

I can assure you that such a practice is never done. Customers need to run TCodes like USMM and take statistics themselves.
