Not able to add roles SAP_BPT_ADMIN & SAP_BPT_USER

Hi All

Whenever I m trying to add standard roles SAP_BPT_ADMIN & SAP_BPT_USER to a user I m getting an error 'Role SAP_BPT_Admin/SAP_BPT_USER does not exist'. What could be the reason since these are standard roles.

Hi Pankaj,

Authorizations for ArchiveLink are also contained in the following Basis roles:

●  SAP_BPT_ADMIN

●  SAP_BPT_USER

as per Roles for SAP ArchiveLink - ArchiveLink - SAP Library

Please try to add the above roles to your user and let us know if they have the same  authorizations for ArchiveLink as SAP_BC_SRV_ARL_USER and SAP_BC_SRV_ARL_ADMIN .

I can add SAP_BC_SRV_ARL_USER and SAP_BC_SRV_ARL_ADMIN but not SAP_BPT_ADMIN or SAP_BPT_USER.

Dear Pankaj,

I have verified in SAP ERP6/EHP7 system and no such roles exists.

However, I am in agreement with Deepak that two roles existing similar are :

"SAP_BPT_GBT_ADMINISTRATION " and
"SAP_BPT_GBT_EVERYONE"

Please confirm the Roles and system again. you might me referring roles from different system (like R/3 4.7 etc. ).

If you found this on google then please also check whether it's compatible with yor system.

Does those role really exist, bcz I couldn't find those role in PFCG, though I found below two roles:

SAP_BPT_GBT_ADMINISTRATION

SAP_BPT_GBT_EVERYONE
