MSS Reports Function Code ****** does not exist

Dear Experts,

I am facing an issue with extracting a report. I have defined a function code, but when I launch the report it says ****** function code does not exist. Earlier it started working when I removed the Org Structure based check box. But now when I am doing the same thing in a separate system it fails. Secondly if I edit what function code to use in a report in the Launchpad the same error starts happening even though the function code had been working fine previously. I am confused since all I did was change the target parameters from one working function code to another inside the launch pad and when I revert the entries none of them work. Why is this? I changed entries in only one area and restored them. Your help would be highly appreciated!

I had the same issue. At the end we realized that we were missing authorization for newly created function codes.

please can you tell what you found and how was this issue resolved. We are facing the same issue with Function Code.
