Hi Experts,
User is printing from sp01, he is unable to print directly. and the printer details are
Printer :LOCL, Front end printing.
Please advise on this issue. how to get the direct print without using SP01.
Regards,
Kiran.
Hello Kiran,
if the spool won't be printed from the application, a possible reason is that the "Print immediately" flag is not set in the R/3 printer popup.
This means: when the application displays the R/3 printer popup, turn on the "Print immediately" (or "Print now", or possibly similar) flag, then execute the printing.
Best regards,
Laszlo

Hello Kiran,
if you print ABAP lists, the "Print immediately" flag is usually here:
If you can not see this flag on the popup, press button "Properties", then double-click on line "Time of printing".
If you check the flag "Show Selected Print Parameters on Initial Screen", it should appear on the popup:
In the case of SAPScript / SmartForm / ADS (Adobe Documents Services) spools the flag is as following:

Hi All
1. You can define the parameter " Output immediately" and define the Output device type " LOCL" settings in transaction code SU01 defaults tab, refer the snapshot.
2. In our environment we have controlling all the printouts(for example -Invoice, Receipt voucher printing) from the Z-table & Z - function module. (Z-table used each mapping print device name = user id or terminal details)

Hi Kiran
Depend on your SAP Application, you can create the output device using transaction code SPAD, either predefined output device from SAP application or while releasing the prints you can select the print device name same like printer:Locl.
