Hi Experts,
I've configured the launchpad from HANA Cloud platform. I am trying to create a new theme through the UI theme designer in the services tab of the HCP cockpit. When i add my launchpad link to the target pages, it gives me an error which says : The following parts of the domain of your custom application and the UI theme designer differ:- hostname.
The domain name is the same except for the prefix :
https://themedesigner-XXXX.dispatcher.us1.hana.ondemand.com/index.html
and
https://flpnwc-XXXX.dispatcher.us1.hana.ondemand.com/
XXXX being exactly the same for me
Any idea how to resolve this?
Thanks!
Hi Joseph,
1.Load the UI theme designer using the following path:
http(s)://<customApplicationName>-<accountName>.<SCPlandscape>.com/<applicationPath>
Example: https://myCustomApp-myUserID123trial.dispatcher.hanatrial.ondemand.com/themedesignerPath/
2.In the Link to Application field, enter the application URL with the following syntax:
http(s)://<customApplicationName>-<accountName>.<SCPlandscape>.com
Example: https://myCustomApp-myUser123trial.dispatcher.hanatrial.ondemand.com

If your are using hanatrial account,
At the end of custom appilcation url suffix , /themedesigner to open in the same path as that of application domain. It will ensure the host and domain to be same,
