Hi experts

I want to enable the Performance warehouse for oracle in DBA cockpit in solution manager. But I did not found any documentation on how to do it.

Environment--Oracle 11g Solman 7.1 SPS12

All the satellite systems are already configured in solman and everything is working fine but I want to enable DPW in solman dba cockpit. Also if I open the dba cockpit in solman in web gui I can see the performance warehouse tab but the reporting and configuration options are greyed out. Also if I open the dba cockpit in webgui in satellite system then as soon as I select the system in it gives error :-

"Database of selected system is not supported"

I have attached screenshots for both the cases above.error.png is error in satellite system

solman.png is the screenshot of performance warehouse disabled in solman

Please help here

solman.png (17.4 kB)

Hi All

I have found the solution to this. In order to activate the DPW for oracle you need to

“Setup DBA Cockpit/DB extractors” in manage system configuration under DB parameters . click next until you see the Database extractor setup n the list of activities. Execute it and save the settings.

To access the DPW data for oracle go to solman_workcenter----> Root cause analysis-----> database analysis. Select the system for which you enabled the DPW. Now you will get the DPW data here
